hello?

Main reason: To be 5 people who share 1 interest. The interest? This journal. Every one of us, we're different. A good sort of different. We have our own beat and we dance to it in our own way. With our differences, we're misfits that fit :D We might be speaking about complications of the heart, the journey of growing up, some fabulous topics (sometimes), being individuals in a sea of clones and any topic we can think of in the future. So here we are: The Traveling Journal. Please like us! We're very likable ;)

worth to not worth

my favorite valentine that i ever got was from a boy named jay. we were in high school. we were not even dating. he came over on valentine’s day, after school, and gave me a potato with a toothpick stuck in it. glued carefully to the toothpick was a cardboard cut out of a heart. and that was it. we never kissed. i think that was in part due to the fact that i had the beginnings of strep throat and i proudly showed him the white puss pockets in the back corner of my throat. we did homework. we watched TV. he showed me how many pens he could fit in his hair (he had a huge fro) and that was about it. the potato stayed in my fridge for months. maybe over a year. it grew little green arms that curled around themselves, praying almost. it stayed plump and healthy for a surprisingly long time. but one day, when all the moisture was gone, it shriveled up. the shriveling process was a very quick one. i still did not throw it away. luckily, i grew up in a house where aunt Diane’s home made Marion berry jam from 1998 still sits this day wedged between an empty bottle of salad dressing and left overs of some unknown origin covered in a fine downy white fuzz. finally, when the brown freckles that dotted the once proud potato grew into huge, gaping black caverns, i knew it was time to part with my treasured gift.

jay is now married. his wife may have a nice ring on her finger, but i still have the toothpick with the heart. i think we all know who came out on top here.
she did.
This was written by one of my favorite musicians: Ingrid Michaelson.
One of my friends think that this might be the story behind one of her songs. I won't know. I haven't gotten myself to hear that song yet.

Oscar's this weekend. Exam on Thursday. So far, February doesn't suck. Hah.

Have a good week!

darn you Kat! haha. she was supposed to give out the challenge again. I only suggested -.-'

okay.

Get a flower, any type and take a picture with a guy you have never been close to.
It would be better if he's a total stranger :D

goodluck!

can i make it up to you?

JU YI HEARTS ME!

So sorry I couldn't post yesterday! My dad didn't let any of us use the computer/laptop just because one of us didn't study. But well, I know I did. I studied my form 1 Sejarah, and I love it to bits! Haha, yes. I love form 1 Sejarah, but not form 2. I don't know why. Oh well. Khadijah can be wierd.

Right. I see that TTJ is a bit dry lately and I know that Esah has a challenge to give us. Even so, she's expecting me to do the very first challenge which I made them do. YES : Take a picture with your neighbour. Haha. And I know I'll not do it. I don't really know my next door neighbour. Okay, fine. I do know them but the guy whom I used to pretend to be Sonic The Hedgehog is all grown up and I'm sure he doesn't really remember me. So, yeah. I'm not doing that challenge, sorry.

Oh YES! Next week is the third week of the month. Sistahs, be ready with your numbers next week and I shall reveal your challenges the week after, okay? Don't forget! Oh good God. I forgot where I put the envelope. AAAAAAAAAAAA. Okay, I'll search for it tomorrow. Don't cheer too soon. If I don't find it, I'm going to make a new set (evil laugh)

Right. I don't know what I can talk about tonight. Okay. I think I might stop here. Anything, I'll just continue my post from here. By the way, please spread the word on TTJ. You'll be doing us a real great favour you know.

Cheers, Khadijah.

Are we a world apart?

Hi. My parents had always reminded me not to give up. Never give up.

So like, I feel like sleeping all day long on my comfiest bed ever. Cos gastric is attacking me again. It's horrid. The pain and I couldn't really stuff my tummy even though I'm starving to death. Conclusion: Gastric Invasions are not and were never fun. Except the part you get to skip a few lessons and just roam around school for no good reasons. :-)

And WTF?! Hari Tunas Usahawan @ S5?! ON SATURDAY?! I've been begging my dad to send me back to Wangsa Maju for the weekend. Too bad my sibs and I have school on Saturday. Don't you just hate replacing school days on weekends? (Pulls a freakishly puppy face) Would anybody that's like, really really nice fetch me from this not-so looking prison? Please?! (Okay, I have to stop with the "?!"). But yeaaaaaaah. I miss my mates back there. Because them lot were like, the only ones that would love me with the way I am accept me with the way I am. (turns on some emo-ish orchestra) Awwwww, Aisyah la emo. That's one of the worst statement ever. Aisyah = Emo? Doesn't fit at all. Ahgreeeeeee? No?

I miss listening to Eisley and Vedera. Good old days!

& Have a nice day!

Oh, It Is Love

Okay, I AM a tiny weeny bit jealous with the lovebirds. look at Ervin, he seems so happy! Ervin's my classmate, he sits behind me and I like to turn around and talk to him :D just now he asked, "Aisyah, you know right I coupled?" I was like "Whaaaaaaaaat? With who? You kidding me right, Ervin." seriously, I thought he was joking. but nooo, he indeed, does have a girlfriend now. macam, WOW!

and of course. jealous with that girl who is so madly in love, even though they've been more than 7 months together, she is even more in love with him now than before. now talk about true! so unlike the usual, hot at the start and starts to cool off. heh. ala, that girl, the one that giggles unconditionally and unstoppably everytime she sees him or his mother, for that even matter :P

Happy Valentine's Day to you, and those couples out there!

My valentine? these two I guess ;) and faaaaaahmily :D

Is my brother vain or not? hahahahaha

So this Saturday is sort of a school day. my school is having a 'Bestarithon'. a marathon being Bestari? err. we're having Hari Tunas Usahawan on that day, and all is invited :D
come laa, I'm baaaakiiiiiiinggggggggg :D

see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!

Dazzle duplet platinum:

HEY GIRLS! IT'S TUESDAY *TETMARIOTHEMESONGTET*

Nerd mode... Check!

I've been... I've been... nowhere? *LOL* Okay that is not even funny tiny bit what the any kind of joke the worst I bet. Do you get what I mean? I am ill-equipped. My head is full of chemical equation, integration-- definite/indefinite/area/volume whatta-f, essays and folio submission attack! Minus the sleep hours.

I like studying. Period.

My mind went blank when I'm studying. I am utterly focused and lost in the world of knowledge. Me likey. Internetz obsessed: Me! Me! Me! Okay, you get the picture. My stepmother been scolding me 'cause I've been sitting here all day long. How can I help myself when YouTube is loading and I'm waiting. There's so much talented people need to be seen and be an inspiration for me.

I've been listening to tracks of songs on ukulele. *I REALLY WANT AN UKULELE FOR MY BIRTHDAY. SO BADLY. I MIGHT SCREAM!* P.S. My birthday is coming soon. Seriously, I can't wait! I'm going to be seventeen. *Singing Dancing Queen* *LOL* *I am a little in blogging mood* *So yeah*. I should stop using **. Here's a picture of an ukulele:

Today is Tuesday and it is dull. I doodled in class-- Whatta? I know right. I got bored and doodle something in my daily planner and damn right; I hit the jackpot! Everybody freaking laugh at the doodle. It was an inside joke among us friends.

These guys made my day. I laughed through the song. I feel much better now. And here one more song:

ALYSSA BERNAL, I LOVE YOU!

[Hella! Back to YouTube!]

weak week

One thing I don't want to come off as is a creepy fan of Dev Patel. I won't even use the word fan. It's more I admire how excellent they are. I don't break into unnecessary screams when I see him. Only happy squeals. *flashes a toothy smile*

I guess I'm rather.. dull today. Inspirations have apparently left me at the door. Probably decided to go on vacation. And not leave me a note. I am blank on what I am to write... *wonders for a few minutes* Ehhhh.. (?) I guess what's most interesting in this week was my college calling me telling me I have a English Exam this 19th. Despite the fact, I'm very good at my language. College English I can assure you is nothing like Secondary English. I am rather worried. I should see Pn. Hasnawiah this Tuesday to ask her about what I should do.

I FINALLY FOUND A TOPIC: THE GRAMMY'S!
Holy cow! It was kuh-razy. Taylor Swift's set was rad (minus Miley C, of course). Coldplay did a pretty darn good too. They won about 2 grammys. Chris Martin has alot of energy jumping everywhere. Radiohead got me at first drum beat. Damn, son! 15 steps + whole precussion band. WOAHOHOHO. Big fan of precussions & drums. Most of the acts were blowing my mind away. I woke up early just to watch it! Worth it. What about you girls&TTJ readers? Did you watched the Grammys? Which were your favourite sets?

I am looking forward to the Oscars! Hopefully to see DevPatel&FreidaPinto on the Red Carpet & they'll win

Have a good week loves!
